By becoming a member of Waikato Thoroughbred Racing you’ll be able to share your racing interests with other like-minded people, but there are also many other benefits. Our members are extremely welcoming and are only too willing to share their passion for racing with someone new. You will enjoy racedays from our modern facility which features bar, café and tote facilities. To ensure a pleasant experience for all Members, a tidy standard of dress is expected all times.
• Free Admission to all race meetings at Te Rapa Racecourse across the membership year and members-only areas (including SkyCity Hamilton Waikato Cup Day)
• One Complimentary guest pass for the whole season.
• Full voting rights allowing you to have your say in the way racing is conducted at Te Rapa.
• Invitations to special events and members only functions during the year with members rates.
• A member’s discount for hire of club facilities for non-race day functions – just tell us you’re a member!
• Membership privileges at other racecourses in New Zealand including: Manawatu RC, Auckland RC, Hawkes Bay RC, Wellington RC, Tauranga RC and Otago RC. We also have a reciprocal agreement with some Metropolitan Clubs in Australia.
Please note: Admission generally has to be purchased, reciprocal rights only extend to gaining access to Members Area's. The criteria for each Club is different.
