Our 2019 Judging Panel will be headed up by Jackie O'Fee

A Personal Stylist for over nineteen years, Jackie O’Fee brings a wealth of experience to the Race-day Fashion judging table. From her knowledge of dressing men and women of all ages, shapes and sizes to her experience as seven-time judge for the New Zealand Trotting Cup at Addington, Jackie has a keen eye for detail coupled with a love of racewear fashion.

You may know Jackie from her various stints on TV including Breakfast, Good Morning and The AM show or her columns for NEXT and Management magazines. You most certainly would also have seen her take on fashion and style quoted across many online media platforms. Jackie is a well-respected and highly sought-after stylist and speaker.

In addition to having Jackie's experience, we are excited to have Auckland Racing Club Ambassador Carena West join us on course as a judge. Carena recently took out the overall title at the Myer Fashions on the Field at the Lexus Melbourne Cup Carnival. She certainly knows what to look out for when it comes to race day fashion.

You could be a winner, just take the punt!

The 2019 Competition

We don't want to keep you from enjoying Waikato Biggest Xmas party so we're keeping things short, sharp & simple this year...

- You can pre Register or register on the day.
- Either way, between 11.00am and 1.00pm you need to pop to the Fashion registration marquee (by the back parade ring) to catch up with our friendly team
- We need you to strike a pose and get snapped by our resident paparazzi. If you miss swinging by the registration marquee, never fear our judges will also be roaming, we have eagle eyes when it comes to spotting sharp dressers!
- At the close of entries the judges will review all the photograph entries.
- The top 5 females and top 5 males will be text at 1.15pm to then meet at 1.30pm* at the raceday office.
- All 10 finalists will parade on the stage in the bird cage with the Best Dressed Male and Female being awarded the Centre Place 2019 titles at approx 2.00pm

*A 5 minute grace period will be allowed, after 1.35pm you'll be ineligible for the final. So keep those phones on LOUD
