BELARDI looks set for a winning debut at New Plymouth this weekend after producing nice final work. 

 On the sand, on a morning when fog interrupted the timing of many gallops BELARDI strode 1000m, completing the final 600m in 41.7. He was an impressive winner at the recent Te Awamutu trials. 

VAL DI ZOLDO who has been in consistent form prepared for Rotorua with nice solo work over 1400m the 1000m in 1.10.4 and the concluding 600m in 42. 

IMPENDABELLE who ran an encouraging third fresh up looked fit for her Rotorua engagement when kept under a strong hold from the 1000m coming from the 600m in 40.1. 

NOT GUILTY left 1000m Behind in 1.10.4 home in 42.

REVUELTO who has copped a wide draw at Rotorua was clocked from the 600m in 42.9. He won a recent trial. 

MARGARET JEAN, who ran an acceptable race fresh was not extended throughout 800m running the final 600m in 44 2.

WHITE NOISE looks set to return to winning form this weekend at New Plymouth. He ran 1200m in 1.25 quickening from the 600m in 40. 

SPORTING CHANCE ran the last 600m of 1400m in 40.5.

KENTUCKY ROSE completed 800m in 59 and 42.6. Stablemate and race rival at New Plymouth,  HULABEAT followed in  58.4 home in 42.1.

RAZIAH and SLIPPER ISLAND were paired over 1000m in 1.9.8 the final 600m in 41.7.

ELUID ran an easy 1000m in 1.11.8 home in 43.2.

SAINT BATHENS returned 1.12 and 42.9 for 1000m. 

DEVASTATE worked in from the 600m in 42.

ARMINO cut out 1000m in 1.10.9 the concluding 600m in 42.3.

Best bet:  BELARDI
